Affiliate Disclosure — Casea Casino NZ
What it costs you
Updated: September 2026
Nothing. The bonus you receive, the terms attached to it and the payout limits on your account are identical whether you arrive from this site, from a search result or by typing the operator's address yourself. Commission is paid by the operator out of its own marketing budget; it is not added to your deposit, deducted from your winnings or reflected in your wagering requirement.
If an affiliate site ever tells you that its link unlocks a better deal than the operator's own page, check the operator's terms before believing it. Exclusive offers do exist in this industry, but they are published by the operator too — and when one applies here, the page says so and links to the terms.
How we earn
When a reader follows a commercial link from this site, opens an account with the operator and plays, the operator pays us a share of its revenue from that account, or a one-off fee per registration, depending on the agreement in force.
That is the site's only income. We sell no advertising space, no sponsored articles and no placement in any list. Nobody pays to appear on this site, and nobody can pay to be removed from it either — a brand that tests badly stays on the site with its score.
The agreement is a standard affiliate contract of the kind used across this industry: a revenue share, sometimes a fixed fee per registration, paid monthly and reported in aggregate. It gives the operator no rights over what appears on this site — no approval of drafts, no veto over a score, no obligation to publish anything at all.
We hold no equity in the operator, and no member of the editorial team has an account relationship with it beyond the test accounts used for reviews.
What it changes for you
For you: nothing about the offer. For us: it is the reason the site exists, which is worth stating plainly rather than hiding behind a line in the footer.
What it does change is the standard we hold ourselves to. Because we are paid when readers register, a review that oversells an operator would cost readers money and cost us the only thing we have — being right about payouts. That is why payment testing carries the heaviest weight in How We Rate and why a slow-paying brand is capped no matter how good the rest of it looks.
If you would rather not send a commission our way, type the operator's address into the browser yourself. The site will be here either way, and so will the review.
Editorial independence
The people who write and score reviews are paid a salary. They do not receive a bonus per registration, and their pay does not move with the site's revenue. Commercial correspondence goes to the publisher, not to the editorial desk.
The operator sees a review when readers do: no draft is sent for approval, and no brand has a veto over its score or the right to have a criticism removed. If an operator asks for a score to be lifted in exchange for better terms, the answer is no, and the request is recorded. The rules behind all of this are published in Our Standards.
Regulatory note
Online casino gambling in New Zealand is provided by operators licensed offshore; the Department of Internal Affairs regulates gambling provided from within New Zealand and does not licence the brand reviewed here. That is a fact about the market, not an endorsement, and it is worth knowing before you deposit: complaints about an offshore account follow the operator's own licensing route rather than a New Zealand regulator. The steps are set out on Dispute Resolution.
Advertising rules in New Zealand require commercial relationships to be disclosed clearly rather than buried. This page, the note in the footer and the disclosure at the top of commercial pages exist for that reason.
The same applies to bonus figures quoted in commercial pages: they are copied from the operator's own terms on the day of writing and dated, so a reader can see when a headline number was last verified.
Which links are commercial
Every link that leads to the operator — buttons, brand names in the text, logos and the offer cards — is commercial and passes through our redirector, which sets a referral cookie described in the Cookie Policy.
Everything else is not. Links to help services on Play Responsibly, to regulators, to game studios and to other pages on this site earn us nothing. No link to a help line on this site is monetised, and none ever will be.
